3. San Antonio scoops cool new ice cream shop with international flavors. A cool Plano-based ice cream shop will soon bring its international flavors to San Antonio. Ked's Artisan Ice Cream and Treats is opening its first Alamo City parlor in the Stone Oak Shops.

4. San Antonio's Dashi Sichuan Kitchen unexpectedly closes after 4 years. After four years serving San Antonio’s Northeast Side, Dashi Sichuan Kitchen + Bar has unexpectedly called it a day. The contemporary Chinese restaurant says it is immediately closing to focus on other projects.

5. Culinaria lights up San Antonio with new holiday pop-up. Local food and drink nonprofit Culinaria is adding a little extra sparkle to the season with a brand-new holiday experience. The organization will debut Merry Happy Everything, a free three-night pop-up running December 2–4 at the Culinaria Event Space.
