1. 7 San Antonio-area H-E-Bs ring up grab-and-go upgrades. Seven San Antonio-area H-E-Bs are getting glow-ups to make the dinner crunch easier. In June, the hometown grocer filed state regulatory project details for several area locations as part of its ongoing Fresh Initiative.

2. Massive 544-acre mixed-use development to open near Seguin. Houston firm NewQuest has started work on Seguin Exchange, a 544-acre project at the junction of Interstate 10 and TX 46 that has been nearly two decades in the making.
3. UTSA ranks among best universities worldwide on U.S. News list. The University of Texas at San Antonio was named one of the best universities worldwide in U.S. News & World Report's just-released comprehensive list for 2026-2027.
4. Tiny burger sensation Small Sliders opens first San Antonio stand. Small Sliders, the tiny burger juggernaut sweeping the Southeast, opened its first San Antonio restaurant at 3103 Wurzbach Rd. on June 17.
5. Boerne brunch fave debuts sunny San Antonio café at the Rim. A popular Boerne all-day brunch restaurant is now beaming down to the Rim. Sunny’s debuted the new location on June 15.
