Texas' Twin Liquors brings back popular annual 'Dollar Sale'
It's time to stock up on liquor again, as Twin Liquors brings its annual Dollar Sale back for the 10th year. This popular sale drops all wine and spirits to their absolute lowest prices, then adds $1. It'll take place August 29 at 10 am and end on August 31 at 9 pm.
Initially a way to thank customers, this sale is now a major draw that brings in shoppers from around the state to 100 store locations. It also connects them with products that may usually be out of their budgets; Even collectible wines and rare whiskeys are included in the sale.
Just make sure all bottle sizes are 750 milliliters or larger. Store selection is reflected on the website for each location, but the sale is only in effect while supplies last.
During the sale, all Marketplace locations will serve free breakfast tacos and Lalo Tequila margaritas. In San Antonio, that means Bitters Marketplace (12955 San Pedro Ave. #500), and Alamo Heights (999 E. Basse Rd. Ste. 155).
Some of Central Texas' Twin Liquors loyalty comes from the store's local history. It was founded in Austin in 1937 and is still family owned. There are more than a dozen stores in the San Antonio area (depending how far out you count) and more than 100 stores overall.
