2025 CultureMap San Antonio Tastemaker Awards
Our annual celebration of the top bar and restaurant talent in San Antonio returns with equal parts flavor and fanfare. Tickets to this signature tasting event and awards ceremony at Briscoe Western Art Museum include sample chef-prepared bites and specialty cocktails all night long. Guests will also have a chance to meet and mingle with the biggest names and rising stars in the local food and drink industry. Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club presents Matt McCusker
Comedian Matt McCusker is the latest resident guest performer at The Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club. He currently co-hosts Matt and Shane’s Secret Podcast and is well known for his novel Overlook: A Story About Drugs, Disappointment, and the American Dream. Shows are scheduled through April 12.

San Antonio Book Festival
The San Antonio Book Festival returns to Central Library and UTSA Southwest Campus with a full schedule of programming for readers of all ages. This year’s guest authors include Martín Espada, Stephen Graham Jones, Erin Entrada Kelly, Nita Prose, and Cristina Rivera Garza. Attendees can participate in signings, exclusive book discussions, author presentations, children and teen activities, special debuts, food trucks, and more. Festival admission is free and open to the public.
Culinaria presents The Master of Chicken
Pro chefs compete for the title of best fried chicken sandwich at this special Culinaria event. Guests are invited to The Alley On Bitters for an afternoon of golf-themed vibes, live entertainment, summer-inspired cocktails, and chef-prepared bites. A limited number of tickets are available now.
The Tobin Center presents H-E-B Cinema on the Plaza
Enjoy a movie night under the stars at Will Naylor Smith River Walk Plaza at the Tobin Center. This month’s featured film is the 2009 animated hit Fantastic Mr. Fox. Guests are encouraged to arrive early and bring their own lawn chairs or blankets to ensure good outdoor seats. A full bar and concessions will be available to complete the movie night. Admission is free.
Frost Bank Center presents Kevin Hart: Acting My Age Tour
Comedian and actor Kevin Hart returns to the stand-up circuit with a stop at Frost Bank Center. Hart comes to San Antonio in support of his Acting My Age Tour.
