1. New Braunfels' Whitewater Amphitheater hits market in bankruptcy sale. In July, the outdoor venue’s operating company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection to reorganize finances and stop a scheduled foreclosure sale. Two months later, the venue and three nearby properties are on the market as part of the bankruptcy case.
2. Mediterranean bowl chain CAVA opens first New Braunfels location. The quickly growing Mediterranean fast-casual chain has opened its first New Braunfels location at 323 Creekside Crossing.
