Alamo Beer files for bankruptcy
Alamo Beer Co. recently filed chapter 11 bankruptcy. According to filings, the East Side brewery listed 20 creditors with unsecured claims between $4,752 and $43,169.
Chapter 11 bankruptcy will let Alamo Beer to stay open and pay creditors while the brewery straightens out its finances.
There’s been speculation surrounding Alamo Beer’s future. Ownership has mulled putting part or all of the Alamo Beer property up for sale.
Alamo also collaborated with the owners of Viva Beer to produce the latter’s beer.
