Where to eat: 7 hopping San Antonio spots for Easter brunch
Roca & Martillo is offering a lavish brunch buffet.
Put on your Sunday best. Whether heading from church or an egg hunt, Easter brunch in San Antonio is a chance to see and be seen — and enjoy seasonal specials all over the city.
Biga on the Banks
A must-visit destination anytime of year, this River Walk staple is especially lovely during patio weather. The exact Easter menu hasn't been finalized yet (maybe the chefs have been distracted by the views), but the restaurant is teasing a choice of starters, a mixed green salad, and hearty entrees like Benedicts, steak frites, a Texas mushroom chile relleno, and a grilled Australian lamb rack. Book a spot by calling (210) 225-0722.
$75 for adults, $35 for kids 12 and under.
Corinne San Antonio
The Plaza San Antonio’s flagship restaurant is hopping into the season with plenty of fun for adults and young children alike. There's Easter egg hunts planned for 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., and photo opportunities with the Easter bunny. Adults can find their own sort of bounce at the bottom of a mimosa. Reserve a spot on OpenTable.
$65 for adults, $17 for kids.

Kona Grill
This pan-Asian chain will be open all day, offering unexpected brunch options like lobster deviled eggs and classics like berry-topped pancakes or a savory breakfast burger. Slept past your alarm? Guests dining in later in the day can feast on decadent entrees such as the bacon Wagyu meatloaf with mashed potatoes and asparagus or the Kona Loco with seared ham and fried eggs.
À la carte.
Ostra
If you’re looking for your prix-fixe fix, check out the Mokara Hotel & Spa’s signature eatery. The coastal-inspired restaurant has a $62 three-course menu that includes Gulf blue-crab beignets, soft poached eggs accompanied by a soft-shell crab Benedict, and key lime baked Alaska for dessert.
$62.
Roca & Martillo
Chef Jason Dady has a hearty Easter brunch planned at his standout Italian restaurant at the Rock at La Cantera. The star of the show is a Tuscan marinated sirloin carving station, but there’s lighter fare like a spinach and white Cheddar frittata with chive crema or petite lemon baked salmon. Kids probably won’t be able to get enough of the chicken and waffle bites.
$59.95 for adults, $19.95 for kids.

Whiskey Cake
Don’t be surprised to see Bugs Bunny at the bar. This Northwest Side favorite is spiking its Bloody Marys with carrot juice (they call it the Root Awakening). Grab one before picking a take-home brunch bundle packed with deviled eggs, chicken and waffle sliders, and candied bacon. Both specials are available from April 3 through Easter Sunday.
$30 brunch bundle, in-house dining à la carte.
Zocca Cuisine d’Italia
The Festive Easter brunch options at this downtown spot include standout dishes like spiced carrot cake pancakes with rum raisins and garden nest avocado toast, complete with two sunny egg yolks. Zocca's regular brunch menu will also be available, so order burrata and peaches to share with the crew. Guests can book in advance on OpenTable.
À la carte.
