Tasting The Stars at High St. Wine Co.
Already know the basics of wine? Continue your education at this advanced tasting session showcasing superb sparkling wines. Beginning at 6 pm, wine enthusiasts will go beyond Champagne to learn the history, geography, and production of bubbles from around the world. Limited tickets are $55 and include a paired cheese board.

Robert Mondavi Wine Tasting at Paesanos Lincoln Heights
Join one of Napa Valley’s most respected wineries from 7-8:30 pm for an intimate tasting featuring wines made by Geneviève Janssens, Wine Enthusiast’s 2010 Wine Maker of the Year. Beersgiving Festival at The Corner
Get in some calm before the Thanksgiving Day storm at this holiday beer fest featuring more than 12 breweries. Reps will be handing out samples, pint glasses, and swag while Eddie’s BBQ dishes up delicious smoked meats. Take a ride-hailing service to the event and receive a 20-percent discount. The event begins at 6:30, and there’s no cover charge.

FriendsGiving Paella at Lara Vineyard
Skip the leftover turkey sandwich and head to Lara Vineyard for a casual meal featuring Spain’s signature dish. The team is hosting two experiences in the lovely outdoor pavilion, a family lunch from 10 am-3 pm, and an evening from 5-10 pm just for adults. The $20 tickets include a pour of Lara’s signature Tempranillo to pair with the meal.

Fideo Loco Festival at Smoke BBQ
Warm up this weekend with a steaming bowl of soup at this can’t-miss festival and cook-off benefitting local nonprofit SA Bully Free. From 12:30-7 pm, sample delicious sopas from competing teams, enjoy live music, browse craft vendors, and sip on delicious hot cocoa or cocktails. General admission tickets are $5, and the $20 VIP pass includes a cocktail and barbecue plate. Kids 12 and under get in free.
