These San Antonio restaurants are serving Easter brunch and dinner to-go
Celebrating holidays might look a little different this year, but it doesn't have to taste any less delicious. San Antonio restaurants are putting together at-home versions of brunch, lunch, and dinner for your Easter or Passover enjoyment, and don't forget to tip big when you park curbside to pick up.
Here’s a list of San Antonio specials available for the April 12 holiday. We'll continue to update as more are announced. Some deadlines come up fast, so don't delay ordering.
Bakery Lorraine
To keep spirits up, Bakery Lorraine is continuing to offer its signature Easter treats for pick-up or delivery at all locations in San Antonio. You can get the chick tart, bunny tart, chocolate nest tart, and egg-shaped moonpies. Bakery Lorraine will also be offering a special Easter-themed meal for pickup or delivery, available in sizes for two or four people. All Easter treats and meals will only be available Friday-Sunday of Easter weekend. Limited supplies each day. Customers can also preorder through Bakery Lorraine's website here.
Don Strange of Texas, Inc.
The first 50 orders from this catering company will receive free Easter brunch, which includes oversized blueberry lemon streusel muffins and DIY mimosas. The catering company is also offering group Easter dinner options for four or 10 people, as well as a la carte options. Orders must be placed by April 9. Eddie V’s
The four-course, family-style dinner features an herb-roasted tenderloin, truffle macaroni and cheese, grilled asparagus, potato gratin, and bananas foster butter cake for $185. Each dinner serves four to six and will be chilled and ready for guests to reheat at home, complete with simple instructions. Pre-order available while quantities last. Eddie V’s will also offer uncooked signature cuts of steak, hand-carved and ready for guests to prepare as they wish. Wine, champagne, and mimosas to-go are also available to order in select locations. Call the restaurant to order.
La Panaderia
The bakery is offering pan dulce via online ordering for curbside and select delivery so guests can enjoy a sweet treat for Easter brunch. La Panaderia will be open for curbside pickup or delivery for locations within a 3-mile radius of the Broadway location.
Max & Louie’s New York Diner
Here's an authentic spot to get traditional Passover-style items, available for curbside pickup or delivery from April 8-16. Items are portioned for one to two people and include chicken matzoh ball soup, gefilte fish with horseradish, stuffed cabbage in sweet and sour tomato sauce, potato latkes, and roasted chicken. Guests can also request that sandwiches be made on matzoh instead of bread during the eight-day holiday. The diner also has a limited supply of boxes of matzoh, available for purchase while they last.
Morton's The Steakhouse
To-go dinner for two for is just $109, with the choice of one starter, entree, accompaniment, and dessert for each guest including signature dishes such as jumbo shrimp cocktail, 6-ounce, center-cut filet mignon, cold water lobster tail, Key lime pie, and New York-style cheesecake. Select wines are also available to take home at 50 percent off list price. You also have the option to purchase the "Chef's Table" home kits, which include Morton's specialties ready to pick-up, grill, and cook in your home kitchen. These kits include an Easter package for two or four, prepared sauces, and butters and bottled water. Morton's Signature Seasoning and house-made au jus will accompany all steak and chops. All orders must be placed by Thursday, April 9.
The Rustic
Guests can pre-order The Rustic’s ready-to-cook meal until April 8, then pick up the order from April 10 through Easter Sunday, April 12. Get a choice of entree (game hens served with ancho lime butter, pork tenderloin served with chipotle pecan sauce, or Prime rib served with horseradish sauce), choice of house or green salad, and sides including potato salad, steamed green beans, and jalapeño spoon bread. For an additional $10, you can add a deviled eggs kit for an appetizer or a carrot cake for dessert. The Rustic’s Easter meal kit feeds two to three people for $49.95 with choices of game hens or pork tenderloin. Guests can upgrade to Prime rib for $64.95. If you have a fuller house, order the larger portion, which feeds four to six for $79.95, with game hens or pork tenderloin, or $99.95 for Prime rib.
