Créme de la Créme
Spurs superstar Tony Parker rolls out new food truck for San Antonio
We say "oui" to this new concept: Spurs star Tony Parker is teaming up with Chef Cliff Chetwood for a French-focused food truck.
The aptly named Crème de la Crème is coming to The Point Park and Eats on Friday, March 18. The rotating menu will feature French classics like crepes, croque monsieurs, and steak frites as well as elevated dishes.
"Chef Cliff has been feeding my family and me fantastic food for nearly five years," says Parker in a release announcing the opening. "This food truck is an opportunity to share a part of my French heritage with the people of San Antonio through Chef Cliff's culinary creations."
Although not classically trained, Chetwood has worked at Michelin-star restaurants in France. The Crème de la Crème food truck is the latest evolution of his fine-dining catering service of the same name.
"I've been blessed to have learned from some of the best chefs in France, and I want to share some of what I experienced there with my hometown using fresh, local ingredients," says Chetwood in the release. "I'm passionate about creating memorable food experiences for others."
Crème de la Crème will open to the public at 3 pm on Friday, March 18. Service hours are 5 to 10 pm on Thursdays, 3 to 10 pm on Fridays, and noon to 10 pm on Saturdays.
