Trendy longevity clinic to open near San Antonio's Dominion

Can coughing up $225 a month help extend your life? San Antonio residents will have the chance to find out when Humanaut Health — a longevity clinic offering premium wellness treatments at an equally premium price — debuts in late 2026.
Founded in Austin in 2023, Humanaut offers a variety of services said to extend life and increase health and vitality. These include tracking 1,000 various biomarkers, as well as therapies said to help with a laundry list of aging concerns such as fat loss, sleep regulation, immunity, and cognitive function.
Although the effectiveness is still up for debate among medical professionals, techniques like therapeutic plasma exchange and stem cell treatments have become trendy with the well-heeled. Billionaires like Peter Thiel have been explicit in their quest to outlive the hoi polloi, investing millions in modern-day fountains of youth.
While Humanaut does not require members to be part of the global elite, its model does come at a cost. The $225 membership, billed annually, is the lowest tier and covers blood panels, bone-density imaging, oxygen tests, heart scans, and a customized health plan, among other perks.
Concierge services run over $3,000 a month, and procedures like a complete blood cleanse cost $75,000. None are meant to replace primary care and are thus not covered by standard insurance plans. Some treatments are compatible with HSAs or FSAs, and some prescriptions may be covered under standard drug plans.
The price, however, has hardly been a barrier for Humanaut. When the Dallas clinic debuted on May 15, it sold 250 memberships in the first week. Of course, San Antonio is a relatively poorer city with fewer high-net-worth households. But Humanaut’s office will be 23119 West Interstate 10 near a center of Alamo City wealth, The Dominion.
