3. 99 Cents Only chain shutters all San Antonio stores amid company shutdown. A national dollar store chain is shutting down: California-based 99 Cents Only Stores will close all 371 of its stores, including all San Antonio-area locations.
4. Hello Kitty Cafe truck turns San Antonio pink for 50th anniversary. A famous kitty and her friends drew huge crowds last year when visiting in the Hello Kitty Cafe truck, and they're about to be back again. 5. San Antonio Missions' 2024 season giveaways include jerseys of 2 legendary Spurs. Opening day for the San Antonio Missions arrived Tuesday, April 9, against the Northwest Arkansas Naturals at Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium.
