McNay Art Museum presents "Los Tres Grandes: Obras de Rivera, Siqueiros y Orozco"
The time-old tradition of Mexican printmaking and its evolution is on display for only a few days longer at the McNay Art Museum. Guests can discover a selection of artwork by the revered “los tres grandes” Rivera, Siqueiros, and Orozco, along with rising Mexican printmakers Jesus Escobedo, Leopoldo Mendez, and Francisco Mora. This exhibition is on display through January 3, 2021.
Flatland Cavalry in concert
Texas country band Flatland Cavalry performs a live, open-air concert at Gruene Hall. Sparkling wine splits will be available for those who want to ring in the New Year a bit early during the show. The Lubbock-based group will take the stage in support of their album Homeland Insecurity. Artist Mason Lively will join Flatland Cavalry as the opening act. Tickets are available for table seating only. Social distancing and safety guidelines will be enforced throughout the evening.
illumiNight: A Magical Drive-Thru Experience
Pull up to the grounds of the AT&T Center for the final nights of holiday glimmer and magic courtesy of 4 million twinkling lights. IllumiNight is a one-mile drive-thru experience for guests of all ages, and highlights along this illuminated holiday journey include photos with Santa from afar, classic holiday concessions, trivia fun, and more. Vehicle tickets and skip the line passes are available on the event website. illumiNight is open through January 3, 2021.
Celebrate SA
Welcome the New Year from the safety of home when you tune into Celebrate SA. The live broadcast on NBC affiliate News4 will feature alive performance by Mélange Band, interviews with local leaders, culinary and cocktail segments, and more. Palo Alto College presents Winter Wonderland ¡Celebración! Drive-Through Light Display
The second annual Winter Wonderland holiday light display flickers for its final days at Palo Alto College. Visitors take a quarter-mile cruise through the campus for an up-close look at almost one million lights and 500 dazzling light displays, providing the perfect safe and family-friendly sendoff to the holiday season. The drive-through light display will be open to the public through January 3, 2021. Admission is free.
