Anna Fialho Byers
Anna Fialho Byers is a native of Fort Worth who moved to Dallas 10 years ago. She received a degree in English literature from Texas Christian University and was on her way to law school when the magazine industry came calling. The former CultureMap managing editor for Dallas-Fort Worth, she was also the managing editor for FD and FD House, the style and home magazines for the Dallas Morning News. Prior to that she served as editor in chief of Celebrated Living, the first-class magazine for American Airlines, as well as senior editor of its sister publication, American Way. She has written for Robb Report Home & Style, Living Magazine, D Custom, and PaperCity, among other publications. When not writing or editing, you can find her digging up her backyard and renovating the home she and her husband recently purchased.
