All Night Long
2 San Antonio P. Terry's locations switch to 24-hour service
P. Terry's is filling a gap for late-night drivers.
A 3 am burger won't take the NBA championship away from the Knicks. But San Antonio drivers can at least eat their late-night feelings at P. Terry's in San Antonio, where two locations are switching to 24-hour service.
The announcement comes after the Austin chain closed its iconic I-35 flagship to make way for the ongoing I-35 expansion. P. Terry's founder and co-owner Patrick Terry appeared at the restaurant in a video to "say goodbye" and announce the other locations' new hours to social media. These locations already exist; it is only their hours that are new. The video's caption also announces that breakfast now starts earlier, at 4 am.
Two are in San Antonio: Medical Center (8443 Wurzbach Rd.) and Potranco (327 TX-1604 Loop). The others are in the Austin Area, one in Bastrop (484 W. SH 71) and three in city limits: Parmer (12301 N. Mopac Expy.), Research (12018 Research Blvd.), and Oltorf (1800 E. Oltorf St.).
"I hope you'll join us at these six new 24-hour locations, and thanks again for everything you do for P. Terry's," Terry said in the video. "We could not be more appreciative."
Previously, only the P. Terry's at 3302 Broadway was open around the clock. That outpost shifted to all-night service in March along with 11 other of the chain's 37 restaurants. In a release, Terry called it the "largest hours expansion in [the] company’s history." The spot soon became a favorite after Spurs Finals games.
The three new 24-hour P. Terry's stands will join a growing list if San Antonio restaurants catering to night owls. In addition to staples like Taco Palenque, Chachos, and Las Palapas, Alamo Biscuit Co. & Panaderia opened an around-the-clock spot on the River Walk in April 2025. And Jim's Restaurant is finally returning to late-night service after drastically reducing hours during the pandemic.
