Food Favors
This is the food San Antonio just couldn't get enough of in 2015
For those days that you can't seem to leave the office (or the couch), Favor has got your back. To commemorate the end of 2015, the app-based delivery service declared the most popular food orders in San Antonio throughout the year.
The top dish that San Antonians can't live without is the pepperoni pizza from Grimaldi's Pizzeria, a New York-based chain that specializes in brick-oven-baked pies.
Although the No. 1 spot goes to an out-of-towner, a longstanding Alamo Heights eatery lays claims to the second most "Favored" item: egg rolls from Hsiu Yu Chinese Restaurant. Coming in at third place, the Trailer Park from Torchy's Tacos is the only taco on the list.
The chicken kabob plate from Zoës Kitchen is No. 4, an overall popular option from the restaurant chain out of Plano. Rounding out the top five is the BLT from Bakery Lorraine, but simply calling this sandwich a BLT is a bit misleading. Bakery Lorraine's version comes with pancetta, avocado, and garlic aioli.
