Texas to Table at San Antonio Botanical Garden
Embrace the season with this farm-to-table dinner showcasing locally sourced ingredients. The evening begins with a 6 pm cocktail hour, followed by an al fresco feast in the Lucile Halsell Conservatory Courtyard. The bountiful menu from Fork and Garden chef Iverson Brownell and the Garden’s Dave Terrazas includes a hors d’oeuvres and four courses, including a lavish charcuterie board of seasonal fruits, meats, cheeses, and vegetables. Doors open at 8 pm for this $5 all-ages show featuring opening sets from Dance like Robots and Gentleman Rogues.

Tower of the Americas First Annual Beer Fest
The Tower of the Americas turns into a biergarten for a day as 24 breweries gather to showcase more than 72 craft beers. Sip on seasonal Oktoberfest brews and pumpkin ales from 2-5 pm while dancing to live music and checking out some sweet rides from the Alamo City XL Modern Mopar Car Show. Then, spice things up by participating in a jalapeño eating contest. Pre-sale tickets are $35 until the day of the event or $40 at the door.
