Acenar
The view alone is worth sitting on Acenar's lively and charming patio, but the food is great too. We suggest tacos, margaritas, and guacamole to get you started, best enjoyed with your most fabulous friends. We are inclined to the happy hour, which takes place Sunday through Thursday from 3 to 6 pm.
Bella on the River
So very romantic with dishes for every palate. You'll find a lot of Mediterranean plates at this river eatery, along with great gluten-free and vegetarian selections and the added bonus of an outstanding wine list.
Biga on the Banks
Chef Bruce Auden always brings the flavor you would expect from a James Beard Award semifinalist. Biga is only open for dinner, so grab a reservation for this high-end option. It's also a prime spot to dine alone with a glass of wine and a delicious dessert.
Las Canarias
Beautiful and meticulous creations from Spain are the driving force behind this River Walk staple. The service is spectacular, and you should most definitely enjoy the beef tenderloin with the corn polenta.
Fig Tree Restaurant
Beautiful views and tasteful experiences define this prized River Walk locale. All beef dishes, anything quail, and desserts are a must-do. It also makes for perfect people watching during San Antonio events.
Lüke
If you dream of authentic New Orleans fare, head to Lüke for some Chef John Russ flair. Lüke is always a top stop for locals and tourists who crave strong and memorable flavors. Tip: Never skip the oysters or the gumbo.
Las Ramblas
Start with a drink outside — it's possible you'll see a wedding on Marriage Island. After drinks, head inside for a detailed tour of the menu from one of the servers. Las Ramblas is great for sharing plates with your dining companions, and the flavor profiles are on point.
