Deshutes Birthday Brunch
Who says brunch is just for mimosas and Bloody Marys? Brew up a new experience at The Hoppy Monk as it celebrates Deschutes' 30th birthday. The kitchen collaborated with the brewery’s executive chef, Jill Ramseier, for an Oregon-inspired menu paired with a huge list of taps and bottles, including some rare releases. Bring your four-legged friends for a furry photo session benefiting San Antonio Pets Alive.
Third Annual Doughnut Social
Sweet treats and smooth brews combine at this delicious event you "do-nut" want to miss. On May 20, The Down Market presents the hole-y pairing of craft beer and artisan doughnuts at The Roost Pub & Cafe from 1-4 pm. In collaboration with pastry chef Chris Jara, the charming Sunday brunch will feature couplings such as a delectable milk chocolate cake doughnut with a rich copper ale and include a doughnut-themed art show and bike ride to the social. Tickets are $25, and with a presale purchase, guest can receive a specialty limited bag of Down Market Coffee whole beans.

Dorrego’s Wine Dinner
Take a culinary journey to South America’s most southern borders, at this Argentinian inspired food and wine night, hosted by Borrego’s at Hotel Valencia. The evening includes a four-course dinner, with passed hors d'oeuvres served at 6:30 pm and the first course at 7 pm. Reserved seating is $80 per person.

Head to San Pedro Creek Culture Park for an evening full of pop-up cafes, a pop-up art market, and a pop-up photo booth (get the theme yet?). Show off your best dance moves as a DJ spins or just relax in the heart of downtown. Parking is free at any city-owned lot between 5 pm-2 am.

Burger Showdown
Watch nine incredible chefs compete in an epic burger battle at Burleson Yard Beer Garden. Benefiting Chef Cooperatives, a nonprofit that that uses pop-ups to support local farms and ranches, this highly anticipated competition features live music, discounted brews, and, of course, delicious burger tastings. The donation-based event begins at 7 pm, and the top three winning chefs will be awarded at the end of the evening.
