We went with the organic herbal aromatherapy massage ($145 for 50 minutes) for this particular visit. After, we enjoyed the private pool, sauna, steam room, hot tub, and the inhalation room. And when you arrive, you're presented with a red string bracelet meant to release worry and stress, a much-needed bonus.

For detoxing
Mokara Spa has a custom fragrance oil that is worth the trip alone. Try the rebalancing thermal mud wrap (70 minutes, $165) that detoxes and cleanses your whole body inside and out. You can get a spray tan after the treatment, and they too have amazing sanctuary lounges and amenities you can enjoy all day long.

For mani/pedis
Woodhouse Day Spa, with multiple locations around town, will get those fingers and toes in line with a color to pop at the beach and that sparkle you need for the fireworks. Tranquil comes to mind when visiting this spa for its signature pedicure ($95) and manicure ($65) offering. Both treatments promise to hydrate, increase circulation, and nourish your skin. The party next to us chose an agave nectar manicure — we’re trying that next.

For a day with friends
Midtown greatness is achieved with Folawns, which has fantastic packages so you can spend the day getting all the things you could ever want with a group of your closest friends. There’s the ultimate escape package that's screaming you and your gal pals' names, featuring a 90-minute facial, 90-minute massage, and spa manicure and pedicure for $313.
