McNay Art Museum presents Orly Genger: "Stomping Ground"
The work of Austin-based sculpture artist Orly Genger nears its final days on display at the McNay Sculpture Garden. Guests will have the chance to explore the sprawling art made of brightly painted recycled lobster rope for an interactive moment with art and nature. Genger’s activation will be on display through April 14.
San Antonio Missions 2024 Season
Kick off the San Antonio Missions baseball season at Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium with some opening weekend games. The Missions will play 69 home games during the 2024 season. This week’s opponents are the NW Arkansas Naturals.
San Pedro Playhouse and Classic Theatre of San Antonio present Midsummer Sueño
The Shakespearean story about love triangles and the fleeting season of summer are reimagined through a Latinx lens at San Pedro Springs Park. The outdoor production is set in a mythical forest of Texas and takes the audience on a journey through the messy lives of the main characters, all told in English, Spanish, and Shakespeare’s verse. Food trucks and vendor shopping will also be available for guests to enjoy when the curtains are closed.

Mike Birbiglia: Please Stop The Ride
Comedian Mike Birbiglia brings new stand-up material to the stage at Tobin Center for the Performing Arts. He’s best known for his five solo shows, including My Girlfriend’s Boyfriend, and their success both on and off Broadway. Fans can expect an evening full of storytelling, laughter, and unique Birbiglia charm. Select tickets are available.
Asking Alexandria in concert
English rock band Asking Alexandria heads stateside for a show at Aztec Theatre. They’re best known for popular songs like “Into the Fire” and “Alone Again.” The group comes to San Antonio in support of their 2023 album, Where Do We Go From Here? Check out ticket availability on Live Nation.

San Antonio Book Festival
The San Antonio Book Festival returns to Central Library and UTSA Southwest Campus with a full schedule of programming for readers of all ages. This year’s confirmed guest authors include Hanif Abdurraqib, Lauren Groff, Steve Inskeep, Silvia Moreno-Garcia, and Becky Albertalli among the ranks. Attendees can participate in signings, exclusive book discussions, author presentations, child and teen activities, special debuts, food trucks, and more. Festival admission is free and open to the public.

Singer-songwriter Dave Mason performs live in concert at Aztec Theatre. The English guitarist makes a stop in San Antonio along his Traffic Jam tour route.
