Friday, October 3
San Antonio Home & Garden Show
The San Antonio Home & Garden Show returns to the Alamodome with a sprawling marketplace and tons of exhibits. The three-day show will feature more than 200 vendor booths, unique displays, and appearances by industry celebrities like Dave and Jenny Marrs from HGTV. Additional highlights include presentations from renowned local and national home pros, an adoptable puppy showcase, gardening workshops, and more.
Living Heritage: A Dia de Muertos Presentation by Araminta Romero
The rich culture and traditions of Día de Muertos are celebrated at Villa Finale: Museum & Gardens. Guests will enjoy a fashion show displaying the Inspiring Heritage collection of local designer Araminta Romero. St. Paul Square presents Friday Night Live
Historic St. Paul Square hosts a weekly community series featuring live music, family-friendly activities, and more. This week’s entertainment is a dance party with DJ Cosmicca and live music at Toro Kitchen and Bar. Friday Night Live is free and open to the public.
Tower of the Americas presents Party on the Tower Plaza
The final month of Tower of the Americas’ free entertainment series begins. Visitors can enjoy live music, lawn games, a moon bounce, caricature drawings, bull riding, and more at the tower base. This month’s featured musical guest is the Chris Boss Band.
SeaWorld San Antonio presents Howl-O-Scream
SeaWorld is transformed into a spooky experience with the return of Howl-O-Scream. Beginning at nightfall, the park comes to life with scare zones, haunted houses, signature Halloween bars, and more. Live entertainment, nighttime coaster rides, and appearances by frightening guests are lurking around every corner. Entry to Howl-O-Scream is included with park admission.
13th Floor Haunted House
The thrilling 13th Floor Haunted House is back for another year. Guests can choose between two separate haunt attractions, The Grymm and Dead Again, to explore. The space also includes The Last Spinehelm: Zombie Shooting Range for those looking to sharpen their survival skills. Cocktails will be available onsite at the Copper Tavern for guests who prefer a frighteningly good beverage. The haunted house is open through November 9.
Saturday, October 4
Boeing Center at Tech Port presents Cage the Elephant in concert
Rock band Cage the Elephant plays live at the Boeing Center at Tech Port. They’re known for top songs such as “Trouble” and “Ain’t No Rest for the Wicked.” The group will perform music from their 2024 album, Neon Pill. Get more details on Etix.
