Smithsonian Starstruck: An Immersive Experience
Explore the mysteries of the universe at the Shops at Rivercenter. Guests can traverse and experience standing at the edge of a black hole and gaze into the cosmos through a virtual reality installation created in collaboration with the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory. Smithsonian Starstruck features solar flares, supernovae, and dazzling sights delivered in an immersive atmosphere. The experience is open through September 27. Find more information on Fever.
San Antonio Museum of Art presents "New African Masquerades: Artistic Innovations and Collaborations"
The work of four West African artists and their interpretations of masquerades is on display for the final days at the San Antonio Museum of Art. The exhibition features 13 masquerade ensembles created from a range of materials including feathers, shells, wood, cloth, beads, sequins, and fibers. Each piece was newly commissioned to showcase and explain the rich cultural significance and technique of masquerade, while adapting the ancient art to modern-day practice and application. “New African Masquerades” is on display through July 5.
San Antonio Missions 2026 Season
Kick off the patriotic weekend with America’s favorite pastime at Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium. The San Antonio Missions will play the Amarillo Sod Poodles. This weekend’s game lineup includes special promotions, including an America250 jersey giveaway, a hot dog eating contest, and a fireworks display. The Missions baseball season continues through September 6. Tickets are on sale now.

City of Schertz presents 4th of July Jubilee
Schertz extends the patriotic celebrations to two days as part of this year’s festivities to commemorate the 50th Anniversary Jubilee. Events will occur at both Pickrell Park and Thulemeyer Park and include carnival rides, a live performance by Josh Abbott Band, a downtown parade, and an expanded fireworks show on Saturday night. Visitors can also purchase limited edition merchandise, food, and beverages throughout the two-day programming. Admission is free.
City of Helotes presents Independence Day Celebration
Head to the Helotes Festival Grounds to cheer on the red, white, and blue as part of their Independence Day Celebration. Highlights include a local vendors market, food, drinks, live music by Justin Gallegos and the Helotes Area Community Band, and a fireworks display. Guests are encouraged to bring their own folding chairs and blankets for a comfortable viewing experience. Tune into 101.5 FM for a music simulcast of the fireworks show. Admission to the celebration is free and open to the public.

The Official City of San Antonio H-E-B Fourth of July Celebration
Woodlawn Lake Park hosts the official City of San Antonio H-E-B Fourth of July Celebration. The free all-day event includes carnival rides, free fitness activities, community vendors, giveaways, traditional American fare, family-friendly games, live music by Ronnie T & The Cumbia All Stars and the United States Air Force Band of the West's rock band. Visitors are encouraged to stick around until after the sun sets to enjoy a massive fireworks display and drone show finale.
Alamodome presents Ye in concert
Music artist Ye brings his world tour to the Alamodome for one night only. The controversial rapper and producer, formerly known as Kanye West, is best known for his various hit albums including The Life of Pablo and Donda.
