1. Heir to Getty oil fortune reportedly found dead in San Antonio hotel room. John Gilbert Getty, 52, passed away November 20 in a San Antonio hotel room. TMZ was first to report the news.

2. Family-friendly outdoor beer garden hatches on San Antonio’s South Side. Brooster's Backyard Icehouse opened the doors to its 6,000-square-foot, family-friendly outdoor space last week. 

3. San Antonio blasts to top of list for new Space Command headquarters. There are only six finalists for the new U.S. Space Command Headquarters — and the Alamo City is one of them.
