Cornyation 2016
This Fiesta-inspired shindig is an event any local wouldn’t dare miss. The bawdy, adults-only production pokes fun at local and national issues, celebs, and politicians in the most hilarious way. With two different showtimes, pile into the Majestic Theatre this Thursday for a night of Fiesta fun with a feisty twist.
A Night in Old San Antonio (NIOSA)
Almost 90,000 people come out for NIOSA every night. Thursday marks college night, and Friday is your last chance to see all of the elaborate custom hats, decorated booths, and live music, as well as enjoy offerings from over 100 food and drink vendors.
San Antonio Missions vs. Midland RockHounds
Take the whole family out to the ball game and watch the San Antonio Missions take on the Midland RockHounds this Thursday through Sunday. Enjoy America’s pastime while you eat the classic ballpark hotdog and sip a cold beer. Grab tickets for you and the kids and spend a leisurely weekend at Wolff Municipal Stadium.
H-E-B Movie Night: Selena
Catch a free screening of the classic biofilm of Tejano superstar Selena Quintanilla at The Playhouse this Friday. Fill up on good eats at the nearby food truck and enjoy a performance by 6-year-old Selena impersonator Audrey G. Ortega before the movie starts.
Anjelah Johnson presents Bon Qui Qui's Gold-Plated Dreams Tour
Laugh-out-loud comedian Anjelah Johnson comes to the Majestic this Friday with her most iconic character, Bon Qui Qui. Expect all the classic routines like "Nail Salon" and "Tia Mary," as well as a full-on rap concert with Qui Qui's hits "I'ma Cut You" and "No Boyfren."
