Alamo City Bucket List
San Antonio-obsessed author reveals 100 things to do in the city before you die
Do you have a bucket list of things you’ve always wanted to do? Are you a San Antonio native or obsessed with the city’s culture?
Now’s your chance to check off the list with the help of Denise Richter, a San Antonio resident with a serious affinity for Alamo City.
Richter’s passion for our city is palpable in her new book released this month, 100 Things to Do in San Antonio Before You Die. She covers everything from breakfast tacos and margaritas to parades and museums.
The book is essentially an extension of Richter’s blog, San Antonio Tourist, which she started in 2010. The blog showcases hot spots in the city, proving that San Antonio has more to offer visitors than the Alamo and the River Walk. From flea markets and museums to murals and parks, Richter flaunts it all.
With 100 bucket list items to get through, you'll want to get started on your Alamo City adventure immediately. In the meantime, save the date for Richter's book signings at Las Colchas on Friday, April 15 from noon to 4:30 pm and Saturday, April 16 from 10 am to 3 pm.
