1. San Antonio Tex-Mex staple to close after 51 years on South Side. Another San Antonio mom-and-pop is saying goodbye. The Curve Restaurant on San Antonio's South Side, has announced it will close in December after 51 years.
2. Starbucks to close 250 stores nationwide, including one in San Antonio. Starbucks closed one Alamo City coffeehouse last week as part of a broader plan to shutter 250 underperforming stores across North America, the company said.
3. San Antonio's Pearl unveils first look at walkable retail expansion. San Antonio’s Pearl gave a first look at its planned expansion ahead of an October 7 hearing with the Historic and Design Review Commission. New renderings show a series of structures that largely keep with Pearl’s current vocabulary.

4. Viral bagel chain to open first San Antonio bakery in Alamo Heights. A viral Connecticut bakery is making its way to San Antonio. TikTok sensation PopUp Bagels will open its first Alamo City location in The Collection shopping center at 7959 Broadway St.
5. Azúca chef debuts new deli and market in San Antonio's Hemisfair. Rene Fernandez, the chef behind Azúca Nuevo Latino and Hola!, will open Park @ 510 Deli & Market in the historic Pereida House at 510 S. Alamo St. on October 7.
