One of San Antonio's best hotel restaurants has a couple new reasons to visit. Signature, the celebrated restaurant from chef Andrew Weissman at La Cantera Resort & Spa, has introduced weekend brunch and weekday happy hour service, providing the perfect excuse to head to the nearby resort for a meal — and a quick escape.
France meets Texas at the new brunch, offered Saturday and Sunday, 10:30 am to 2 pm. The weekend extravaganza includes French-style omelettes and Southern-inspired creamed beef on a biscuit, as well as an authentic New England-style lobster roll and breakfast burger to satisfy all tastes.
Tuesday through Saturday, there's a new happy hour — aka "Signature Hour" — available from 4:30 to 6 pm. Expect $5 select beers and $7 glasses of wine and cocktails (which change weekly). Favorite menu items available during the new Signature Hour include charcuterie, deviled egg potato salad, and lamb curry; prices range from $5 and $15.
Signature, which was nominated for Best New Restaurant in our 2016 CultureMap Tastemaker Awards, was also named to Texas Monthly's list of the best new restaurants of 2016. The restaurant serves dinner Tuesday through Sunday; reservations are suggested.
