San Antonio's all-star bar team is bringing craft brews to a thirsty neighborhood. Come September, residents of Helotes can drink their fill at Stout House, one of the first watering holes of its kind in the area.

Stout House comes from Doug Ackerly, William Huey, and Mat Rapp, owners of The Hangar Bar & Grill, The Three Legged Monkey, and The Ringer Pub. The Helotes outpost will feature 20 craft beers on tap in addition to a lineup of bottles, cans, and a full bar.

The 3,000-square-foot space will include an outdoor patio and games — pool, darts, and beer pong. There's no food onsite, but Florio's Pizza is opening a new location next door and there are talks of a "pass-through" window so Stout House patrons can easily grab a slice.

Stout House will host its grand opening at the Silverado Theatre Shopping Center on Saturday, September 17.
