As foodies we salute DIY tailgaters, but it's time to see what the pros can do. Chef Jason Dady is teaming up with Culinaria for its its eighth annual Titans of Tailgate event, which showcases professional chefs' grilling skills while supporting San Antonio High School culinary programs.

The event sticks to the sporty spirit by pitting the chefs against each other to crown the titular Titan of Tailgate. This grill-off will take place at The Rock at La Cantera on Saturday, February 1, from 1-4 pm.

According to the event website, 30 chefs including Dady are participating. Most work in restaurants that San Antonians know and love; seven of them are representatives like culinary arts instructors from local schools. Attendees will get to taste samples and vote on their favorite to pick the winner.
