CREPE EXPECTATIONS
Favorite San Antonio crêpe café flips into sweet new Cibolo spot

Cibolo is about to get a whole lot sweeter. Crepeccino, the San Antonio café beloved for its French-inspired crêpes and cozy atmosphere, is opening its second café on September 13 at 857 Cibolo Valley Dr. #208.
Owner Bara Ekhlayel says the expansion is all about bringing Crepeccino’s signature charm to a new community.
“San Antonio has embraced Crepeccino in such a special way, and we’re thrilled to bring that same experience to Cibolo. Our new location is about creating a space where neighbors, families, and friends can gather over fresh crêpes and great coffee,” Ekhlayel says in a release.
Crepeccino first opened in 2018 in Leon Valley, quickly becoming a neighborhood favorite with its lineup of waffles, artisan gelato milkshakes, sandwiches, and specialty coffee drinks. The new Cibolo café will carry over all the favorites that made the original location so popular, giving locals a new go-to for brunch and coffee dates.
Still, the crêpes are the main attraction. Sweet classics like ricotta-strawberry and Nutella join innovative savory flavors such as a cheesesteak, chicken Alfredo, and a lasagna-style dish stuffed with meaty Bolognese.
Guests can try them all during the opening festivities, September 13-14. The first visitors can expect free crêpes for the first 50 people in line on opening day, along with raffles, giveaways, and discounts on the café’s most popular menu items. The party will also feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and those who RSVP through Eventbrite will have a chance to win prizes, including Crepeccino gift cards worth up to $500.
After the Cibolo outpost is up and running, Ekhlayel will turn his attention to a third restaurant at the new Portico at Shaenfield Ranch development, at 7807 W Loop 1604 N #201. An official opening date has not been announced yet, but state construction records estimate a November completion.
The Cibolo Crepeccino will be open Monday–Friday, 7 am-10 pm; Saturday, 8 am-10 pm, and Sunday, 8 am-9 pm.
