OPENING ALERT
Crepeccino debuts new cafe on San Antonio's Northwest Side

Crepeccino will debut its third location on June 20.
San Antonio-born Crepeccino is stacking up a new cafe at the Portico at Shaenfield Ranch development. The mini-chain will open its third area location at 7807 W Loop 1604 N #201 on June 20.
The restaurant will be one of the first businesses to open in the brand-new shopping center. Eventually, the center will be a busy dining hub with a new location of local favorite Box St. All Day and four concepts that are new to San Antonio: D’ Fish House, El Mercado, Makirrito, and Bitelo Brazilian Steakhouse.
According to a release, the new Crepeccino will keep the same menu as the other two outposts. Owner Bara Echlayal debuted the concept at 5500 Babcock Rd. #104 near Medical Center in 2018, serving delicate French pancakes garnished with caramel, chocolate, and fruit. COVID-era business disruptions allowed the restaurant to expand its kitchen and add savory crepes to the menu.
The broadened offerings now include everything from a ratatouille crepe slathered with eggplant, zucchini, and peppers, to a riff on the uber-popular Dubai chocolate trend. The cafe also serves gelato and breakfast and lunch favorites like huevos rancheros and chicken Diane.
To celebrate its grand opening, Crepeccino will be giving out free crepes to its first 50 guests and hosting a giveaway of $100, $300, and $500 gift cards. To win, guests must RSVP via Eventbrite and make an in-store purchase.
Following the debut, the cafe will be open Monday through Friday, 7 am-10 pm; Saturdays, 8 am-10 pm; and Sundays, 8 am-9 pm.
