OPENING ALERT
Box St. All Day debuts 3rd San Antonio location on Far West Side

Box St. All Day is known for decadent creations like strawberry-topped French toast.
One of San Antonio's most popular brunch destinations is now forming a triangle. Box Street All Day will open its third restaurant on June 17 in the bustling The Portico at Shaenfield development at 7807 W Loop 1604 N.
“Third time’s a charm. It’s gonna be a three-peat,” said chef and co-owner Edward Garcia III via a release.
Garcia III and Daniel Treviño debuted Box Street Social as a mobile eatery in 2015. Although the pandemic delayed their growth, the duo transitioned to brick-and-mortar at Hemisfair in late 2021. The concept became an instant hit, leading to a La Cantera sequel in 2024.
The restaurant has made a name for approachable fare like a cherry compote-topped Thicc Boy pancake, milk bread doughnuts, and a signature smash burger served with house-made accompaniments. It has just as much fun with its drinks, pouring lattes with cereal bits and Instagrammable cocktails swirled with strawberry syrup.

The sunny interiors, designed by partner Caroline Garcia-Bowman, added to the success. The restaurant’s mix of graphics, poppy colors, and natural furnishings has made both locations among the most-snapped spaces in San Antonio.
After the Far West Side eatery debuts on June 17, it will be open daily 9 am-4 pm, with a weekday happy hour 2-4 pm. The free evenings should give the busy trio time to work on their ever-expanding portfolio, like the new project LoverBoy House Eats, coming to Pearl by the end of 2026.
