Easter falls on April 20, but there are several ways to eat your way into the new season fashionably early.
Cocktails and Treats
Bakery Lorraine
Pre-orders are now open for Bakery Lorraine's specialty Easter desserts. Indulge in a sophisticated take on a classic egg hunt with the French patisserie's adorable nest tart or a springtime egg moon pie. For a more traditional treat, Bakery Lorraine also sells a bunny carrot cake with white chocolate rabbit ears. Pre-orders close on April 16. Pickup is available from April 18-20 at all Bakery Lorraine locations.
Tenfold Rooftop Bar
Seeking an adults-only Easter celebration? Tenfold Rooftop at the Kimpton Santo Hotel has two specialty cocktails for the occasion. The $16 Bunny Blanco blends 400 Conejos mezcal, carrot, lemon, ginger, and sparkling wine. For the more floral-minded imbibers, the $15 Tenfold Tulip features Teremana tequila, lime, agave, tonic, and butterfly pea tea for a perfectly purple hue.
Brunch
Corinne San Antonio
Corinne San Antonio has an elegant brunch planned for Plaza San Antonio Hotel & Spa guests and locals. Buffet stations include French toast, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, and more. Corinne's Easter brunch will also feature a carving station with ham, sausage, and strip sirloin, a mimosa bar, pastries, and coffee. Word on the street is that the Easter Bunny will hop on in for a special guest appearance, perfect for a photo opportunity.
10 am-3 pm. $65 for adults and $17 for kids 10 and under.
Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa
Unique entrees at the resort's Easter brunch include herb-seared salmon with grapefruit salsa, smoked chicken breast with pickled okra, and smoked Berkshire ham with maple mustard glaze, to name a few. The hotel will also have several Easter activations, including a themed photo station and Easter egg hunts at 9 am and 1 pm.

Cavalier
The acclaimed restaurant's holiday spread includes dishes like ceviche, roasted picanha, and pozole — plus pastries from lauded pastry chef Sofia Tejeda. Diners can access various activities on the second floor, including bouncy castles, egg painting, and arcade games. Guests who book a stay from April 19 through April 20 are eligible for the InterContinental San Antonio Riverwalk's "Eggstravaganza" giveaway to win fun prizes.

La Panadería
The popular chain will be open for Easter brunch at all four locations, serving its classic morning menu. Options include tequila butter steak and eggs, ranchero eggs Benedicts, and waffle croissants. Wash it all down with a mimosa or a cerveza before continuing the day's celebrations.

Ostra
Feeling nostalgic for Peeps? Ostra at the Mokara Hotel and Spa has a sweet solution — the restaurant's Peeps Spritz cocktail features a refreshing concoction of LALO tequila, Cointreau, lime, Topo Chico, and Dr Pepper, all topped off with one of the bird-shaped marshmallow treats. The restaurant's Easter menu boasts lighter fare from beet-cured ocean trout to Niçoise salad.

Four Brothers Southern Provisions
Omni La Mansión del Rio's resident eatery has a special three-course prix-fixe set for Sunday. Highlights include a chicken and cornbread waffle with blueberry compote, street corn deviled eggs with jalapeño, and a pineapple upside-down carrot cake, aptly named the Easter basket. Thirsty? Try the rum-based Cotton Tail cocktail, topped with pineapple, whipped cream, and jelly beans.

Signature
Reservations are booking up fast for La Cantera Resort and Spa's Michelin-recommended restaurant. Enjoy a specialty cocktail or champagne alongside the one-day-only menu from chef John Carpenter. Then, take the kids to the lawn for an Easter egg hunt.

Zocca Cuisine D’Italia
Where else can you brunch with the Easter bunny on a barge? The River Walk Italian eatery has three barges slated to take off on the San Antonio River for an unforgettable dining experience. Munch on shareable charcuterie boards with carrot hummus, caramel glazed mini cinnamon rolls, shredded burrata, a choice of entrees, and more. Specialty drinks will also be available to purchase.
