1. Affluent San Antonio suburb ranked 4th best place to live in Texas. Alamo Heights earned an "A-plus" rating thanks to its family friendliness, its high-ranking public schools, its nightlife, and more. Niche determined the best places to live in based on crime rates, public school rankings, the local cost of living, job opportunities, and other factors.
2. Shelley Duvall's sprawling Blanco ranch hits market for $699K. The almost 11-acre property at 404 Red Bud Trl. went on the market in late September, and was most recently updated as "pending sale" on December 5, according to Zillow.
3. Tony Parker unlocks the doors to his $19.5M San Antonio-area estate. In July, San Antonians could take a virtual tour of the Spurs legend's lavish Boerne estate via Twitch as part of content creator Kai Cenat’s 30-day summer streaming event.

4. San Antonio's Thomas J. Henry loses spat over Corpus Christi arena. The celebrity lawyer might sponsor turkey giveaways, fireworks displays, and boxer Mario “El Azteca” Barrios, but Corpus Christi’s American Bank Center won’t be bearing his name.
5. New Stone Oak shopping center lures 3 favorite chains to San Antonio. Called Stone Oak Mercantile, the 57,673-square-foot project will feature the Alamo City’s first Crust Pizza Co., known for its tavern-style pies, along with new locations for Chick-fil-A and Black Rock Coffee.
6. Win this $1.1M San Antonio house in HGTV's 2025 smart-home sweepstakes. In April, Home and Garden Television launched a giveaway campaign for a 3,000-square-foot house in an unnamed historic San Antonio neighborhood. The abode was originally built in the '50s but was renovated for contemporary living and energy efficiency.
7. Texas rustles up ranking as No. 1 state for ranches on the market. The Texas Department of Agriculture said the Lone Star State is home to nearly nearly 250,000 ranches, spanning nearly 172 million acres of land.
8. San Antonio had 3rd most pet-friendly rental listings on Zillow in 2024. A majority of rental listings in San Antonio allowed tenants to have furry best friends, and pet-friendly rentals were leased six days faster than units that didn't allow pets.
9. New shopping center to open with popular taqueria in north San Antonio. State filings revealed a new $2.2 million development at 1611 E Borgfeld Dr. would break ground in October. The Shops of Borgfeld will host locally owned Tex-Mex chain Tia’s Taco Hut and other retail concepts.
10. 2 San Antonio suburbs make 2025 list of best small cities in America. New Braunfels ranked in the 83rd percentile of the best small American cities, while Cibolo ranked in the 56th percentile.
