Texas Fashion Week struts back into San Antonio for 2026

Texas Fashion Week isn't just fashion shows.
Strike a pose. Texas Fashion Week is returning to San Antonio June 1-7, 2026, bringing runway shows, industry panels, and a showcase of designers all helping to build a serious fashion economy in the Lone Star State.
The week-long event is organized by the Texas Fashion Industry Initiative (TFII), a nonprofit focused on economic development and creative empowerment for Texas-based fashion professionals. This year's runway lineup includes Houston-native designer Johnathan Hayden, Council of Fashion Designers of America scholarship winner Jesus Del Real, Becky Hollands, LeTourneau Couture, and Taryor Gabriels Clothing, among others.
The anchor of the programming is the annual TFII Conference, bringing together partners including LaunchSA, The Pink Berets, San Antonio Young Professionals, and The Creative Futures. The day of panels cover a wide range of topics, from how to build brands using state-of-the-art technology to careers for servicewomen.
Fashionistas fond of Project Runway and RuPaul’s Drag Race’s unconventional materials challengers won’t want to miss the Education Activation — a sustainability-focused day where Texas colleges and high schools compete to create spring-themed designs from sustainable materials. While the budding designers won’t be using safety netting, upcycled garments and textile scraps will be given new life, fighting against the waste of fast fashion.
“What we're building isn't just a runway for designers—we're (slowly) creating a sustainable infrastructure that prioritizes the business side of fashion," says TFII President Saige Thomas. “We're looking for the perfect event equation that highlights the garment but also translates to healthy sales for Texas designers. To leave out the business side of what we're building would mean we're just playing dress up — and this is so much more intentional than that.”
