Charming Texas jewelry brand adds new San Antonio store to its collection
James Avery Artisan Jewelry, known for its charm bracelets that let wearers express their personality, hobbies, and causes, has opened a new store (8219 State Hwy. 151, Ste. 128) at San Antonio's Westover Marketplace.
Similar the Pandora bracelets that swept the late aughts, these charm ensembles are more regionally popular. The Texas-based, family-owned retailer sells common designs like initials, animals, and symbols of accomplishments, alongside charms with a more Texan twist.
A variety of Texas-shaped charms are available, plus symbols like cowboy boots, bluebonnets, and tacos. James Avery even partnered with Whataburger for a fun enameled set, and offers San Antonio-specific charms like one that says "Viva Fiesta" and one that depicts The Alamo.
If bracelets are not a charm collector's style, they can add flair to a necklace; or they can opt for more simple earrings or a ring.
"This year marks our 70th Anniversary, and we're thrilled to be expanding our roots in San Antonio," said James Avery chief product and revenue officer Karina Dolgin. "We can't wait to help guests discover meaningful jewelry designs. Being part of their stories is the best part of our job."
James Avery represents many parts of Texas; It's designed in the Hill Country and more than 90 percent of its jewelry is made in Kerrville, Comfort, Hondo, and Corpus Christi, according a news release. Designs are available in silver, 14- and 18-karat gold, and brass, and sometimes feature gemstones.
"Our team is ready to welcome everyone to our beautiful new store and give them the exceptional customer service James Avery has come to be known for," said store manager Barbi LutriGonzalez. "This store offers easy access from Highway 151 and Loop 410, giving us a great location to serve our guests on the west side of San Antonio."
The store will be open Mondays through Saturdays, from 10 am to 8 pm, and Sundays, from noon to 6 pm.
