Swanky San Antonio boot company runs wild with 4 new styles
The collection includes these high olive green kickers emblazoned with doves.
Fraulein Boot Company is bringing some rock 'n' roll style to the rodeo. The San Antonio company unveiled a new four-style fall collection at the Round Top Fall Antiques Show on October 17 that might have a few cowgirls clutching their bolos.
Margaret Walker and Sarah Caruth, the San Antonio siblings behind the coveted brand, say they designed each style in the Run Wild series around a different kind of woman. But don’t expect run-of-the-mill ropers. Each has a rebellious streak.
“A great pair of boots is more than something you wear,” explained Walker in a release. “It’s a reflection of who you are before you ever say a word.”
Each of the styles is guaranteed to get tongues wagging. The Wine Gameday pairs a wine-colored counter with a cream shaft and gold piping, made for Saturdays in the stands — or at least under the tailgate tent. Lucky Girl draws inspiration from the Year of the Horse with lipstick red, baby blue, and a shiny gold horseshoe.
The Field boot blasts into the dove season in olive green emblazoned with florals and soaring palomas. Finally, the all-black Flame has a bad reputation courtesy of its muse, Joan Jett.
The boots arrive in time for the 2027 San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo, but customers can rev up their style now by purchasing online or in person at Blue Hills at Round Top through October 31.
