San Antonio lands only Texas date on My Chemical Romance 2026 tour

My Chemical Romance are bringing their Black Parade tour to San Antonio in September 2026.
Dig out the spiked belts and add a black Revlon ColorStay Pencil to your Amazon cart: Emo legends My Chemical Romance are coming back to San Antonio’s Alamodome on September 12, 2026, one of only 12 U.S. arena stops for The Black Parade tour — and the only gig in Texas.
The tour celebrates the 20th anniversary of their third studio album, The Black Parade, widely considered the most essential album of the emo era. Although the band rejected the term throughout its career, the ambitious record was undeniably a crowning achievement of the genre. If it walks like a duck and has an inky asymmetrical haircut, it’s probably a scene duck.
Far from a nostalgic retread of greatest hits, My Chemical Romance’s anniversary tour is as much of a theatrical production as it is a concert. Gerard Way and company dig out their monochromatic marching band uniforms as the central figures in a rock opera incorporating live actors and pyrotechnics into the visual storytelling.
Each stop of the tour includes a diverse crew of special guests ranging from punk godfather Iggy Pop to alt-rock hitmakers The Breeders. The San Antonio appearance will feature progressive rock favorite The Mars Volta.
Tickets go on sale Friday, September 26, at noon. In addition to the 12 U.S. performances, My Chemical Romance will be playing three U.S. festivals in 2026: May 10, 2026 - Daytona Beach, FL - Welcome to Rockville in Daytona Beach, Florida, May 10; Sonic Temple in Columbus, Ohio, May 14; and Louder than Life in Louisville, Kentucky, September 18.
