Chris Jericho leads killer lineup at San Antonio horror convention

Chris Jericho hams it up at the Big Baby premiere.
Spring might not be the spookiest season, but a horde of horror icons will darken the halls of the San Antonio’s Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center when Big Texas Terror returns March 6-8.
Although the full line-up has yet to be announced, the annual horror convention is already promising some of the genre’s biggest stars. Among the bold-name headliners are scream queen Linda Blair of The Exorcist, pro wrestler Chris Jericho, and Jeremy Davis — known as much for his dramatic roles in Saving Private Ryan and Justified as his creepier turns in Black Phone.
Fans of the indie slasher franchise Terrifier will also be treated to cast members Lauren Lavera, Elliott Fullam, Amelie McLain, Leah Voysey, Samantha Scaffidi, and Art the Clown himself, David Howard Thornton.
Most of the initial lineup features the men and women behind the big bad masks. Among the other announced guests are:
- Doug Bradley (Hellraiser)
- Andy Black (Black Veil Brides)
- Ted Raimi (Evil Dead)
- Nick Castle (Halloween)
- Tommy Lee Wallace (Halloween 3: Season of the Witch)
- Quinn Lord (Trick R’ Treat)
- Tom Morga (Friday the 13th: A New Beginning)
- Jon Abrahams (House of Wax)
- Lochlyn Munro (Freddy vs. Jason)
- Jess Weiss (Five Nights at Freddy’s)
- Craig Dowsett (Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey)
- Miguel Mora (Black Phone)
Fans can also chat with popular comic book artists like Michael Conrad, Noah Bailey, Tyler Crook, Zoe Thorogood, Joe Whiteford, and William Russel. And a variety of ghastly goods will be available for purchase on the convention center floor.
Big Texas Terror is organized by the same company that organized Big Texas Comicon. In 2025, the convention recruited a who’s who of ‘90s icons, including Juliette Lewis, Danny Trejo, David Arquette, Jason Patric, and Mira Sorvino. The convention promises that more guest announcements are coming soon, so the fandom should be on the watch for marquee names.
Tickets to Big Texas Terror range are slightly more affordable this year, ranging from $29.85 for a single-day Friday pass to $216.30 for a VIP express pass. Celebrity photos and autographs are sold separately, but so far, only Blair and Jericho are offering presales. A signature and selfie combo with the wrestler will set fans back $212.87, while Blair is a relative bargain at $127.85 (the indignity).
All ages are welcome, though parental discretion is advised. Little monsters aged 3-10 can get spooked starting at a mere $12.40. The convention runs March 6, 2-8 pm; March 7, 10 am-7 pm; and March 8, 10 am-5 pm.
