30th Annual Mercado de Paz
Give the gift of local goods this holiday season when you shop at the 30th Annual Mercado de Paz ( also known as the International Peace Market). Inspired by their open-air markets, hosted in indigenous communities around the world, the San Antonio event is a community-centered retail hub showcasing an array of items such as rugs, pottery, textiles, hand-embroidered clothing, paintings, sculptures, and more. Mercado de Paz is free and open to the public through December 1.
Ballet San Antonio presents The Nutcracker
Timeless holiday tradition The Nutcracker is brought to life by San Antonio area youth ballet dancers on the Tobin Center stage. This treasured family production features live music by the San Antonio Symphony. Select tickets to opening night are still available. Performances through December 8.
The Public Theater of San Antonio presents Elf the Musical
The cheerful story of Buddy the Elf is retold and reinvented in this festival musical production. Audiences can enjoy this modern-day holiday classic with new magical moments, original music, and North Pole-approved costumes and scenery. Performances through December 22.

The Strong Group Association presents The Alamo City's 3rd Annual R&B Southern Soul Dance Party
The Strong Group Association offers up the perfect opportunity to burn off the calories from a weekend of holiday indulgence. R&B Southern Soul Dance Party will feature live performances by TK Soul; Mc B. Wright; Magic One; and from the Alamo City, Big Al. The event will also feature live sets by DJ Rem-A-Niss. Guests can expect a night full of blues and R&B stylings set in a mature and fabulous atmosphere. A select number of preferred front row tickets are still available.
