The pivotal, Tony Award-winning musical The Wiz comes to Majestic Theatre. The all-new production features the iconic score of soul, gospel, rock, and funk musical genres that made it famous in the 1970s. Fans can expect a setlist of the Broadway musical’s top songs, including “Ease on Down the Road” and “Home." Shows are scheduled through May 11. Tickets are available now.
Tobin Center presents Alton Brown Live: Last Bite
Chef and television personality Alton Brown hits the tour circuit with a stop at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts. Brown is best known for his long-running Food Network show, Good Eats. The food scientist and television personality will share stories from his career in food media and perform some of his popular food songs during this special variety show. Bihl Haus Arts presents Terry Allen Jones and Lauren Browning: Natural Legacy opening reception
Bihl Haus Arts unveils its newest exhibition featuring artists Terry Allen Jones and Lauren Browning. Natural Legacy will showcase Jones’ oil paintings and Browning’s sculptures, each paying homage to the artistic beauty of the Texas Hill Country. The show studies the region through different seasons, different settings, and different lighting conditions. Following opening weekend, the exhibit will be on display through May 31. Reception admission is free and open to the public.

Guests can shop more than 130 vendors offering everything from microgreens, grass-fed beef, eggs, nuts, honey and oils to candles, jewelry, bath products, and boutique clothing.. The indoor-outdoor market is held monthly at Northeast Bible Church. Admission is free.
Twin Liquors presents Devils River Distillery Tasting & Bottle Signing with Dave Bautista
Actor and retired professional wrestler Dave Bautista is the special guest at this whiskey evening hosted by Twin Liquors on San Pedro Avenue. Highlights include meet-and-greets with the Guardians of the Galaxy star, photo opportunities, and signed bottles of Devil’s River Whiskey. Admission to the tasting is free. Guests must be 21 or older to attend.
The Tobin Center presents H-E-B Cinema on the Plaza
The outdoor movie series at Tobin Center’s Naylor Smith River Walk Plaza continues with a spage-age sleeper. This month’s feature film is the 2023 sci-fi flick, Asteroid City, directed by Wes Anderson. Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets for the screening. Concession offerings and a full bar will be available for a complete movie night experience. Admission is free and open to the public.
