Landrace presents Freetail Brewery Pop-Up
James Beard Award finalist chef Steve McHugh taps Freetail Brewing Company for a boozy feast. Broadway in San Antonio: The Lion King
Six-time Tony Award-winning musical The Lion King hits the San Antonio stage for a limited time. The acclaimed production features choreography by Tony Award winner Garth Fagan and stunning visuals. Performances are scheduled through November 7.

San Antonio Parks Foundation presents Jazz in the Garden
Smooth sounds return to the Japanese Tea Garden with this month’s installment of Jazz in the Garden, featuring Jose Amador and Terra Nova. Members of the San Antonio Parks Foundation and KRTU annual members are invited to a limited-capacity happy hour where complimentary beverages and hors d’oeuvres will be served. Admission to the outdoor concert is free.

Galaxy Productions presents Día de los Muertos at Hemisfair
Hemisfair is bringing back its Día de los Muertos event, Muertos Fest, for another vibrant year. Highlights of the two-day festival include live music, poetry and dance performances, an arts market, workshops, kids’ activities, and more. Go to the festival website for a full schedule of events. Water Lantern Festival
At the Water Lantern Festival, visitors can take part in sending off thousands of lanterns inscribed with inspirational words onto the water at Elmendorf Park. Additional festivities include a vendor market, live music, food, and more for guests of all ages. Visit the event website for tickets
