San Antonio Food Bank presents Taste of the Dominion
Locals are invited to eat, drink, and be merry in the name of philanthropy at The Dominion Country Club. Festivities at the event benefiting the San Antonio Food Bank include samples of dishes from the local hospitality community, live music performances, and a silent auction. The Briscoe Western Art Museum presents Smoke and Embers: The Art of Vaquero BBQ
Acclaimed pitmaster and author Adrian Davila cooks up a tasty event at the Briscoe Western Art Museum. The event will feature hands-on cooking demonstrations with traditions used by the vaqueros and will conclude with a three-course meal featuring Davila’s own recipes. Guests will also hear live music by Los Callejeros and can grab food from Dona Kika’s Tacos & Gorditas. A select number of tickets to this unique food event is still available. 

Opera San Antonio presents Don Giovanni
Settle in for the live performance of Don Giovanni by Opera San Antonio at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts. The production will be sung in Italian with English supertitles, and performances take place October 7 and 9. Visit the ticket website for more information.

San Antonio Fall Home & Garden Show
The San Antonio Fall Home & Garden Show returns for its 33rd year with a sprawling marketplace. Attendees to the three-day show at the Alamodome will enjoy a special appearance by Darren Keefe, co-host of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, plus presentations from renowned home pros, opportunities to connect with industry experts, and more. 

Willie Nelson & Family in concert with Pat Green
Texas music legend Willie Nelson comes to New Braunfels’ Whitewater Amphitheater to perform live for back-to-back nights with special guest Pat Green.
