San Antonio Museum of Art presents “America’s Impressionism: Echoes of a Revolution”
On display through September 5, “America’s Impressionism: Echoes of a Revolution” explores the American take on impressionism. The San Antonio Museum of Art exhibition features approximately 75 works showcasing the evolution of American paintings, including pieces by such Texas artists as Julian Onderdonk, Dawson Dawson-Watson, and José Arpa. The exhibition also features selections of American impressionism from the private San Antonio-based Halff Collection.
