12th Annual Hill Country Film Festival
The 12th Annual Hill Country Film Festival returns to in-person programming for the first time since 2019. The four-day event will include screenings of independent films and documentaries by filmmakers from Texas and across the country, panel discussions, parties, special guests, and more. Celebrity Fan Fest
San Antonio’s premier comic convention makes its way to Freeman Coliseum for 10 days of fun. Celebrity Fan Fest highlights include special appearances by A-list Hollywood actors, photo ops with pop culture figures, special attractions, and more. Celebrity guests include Owen Wilson from Loki, Freddie Prinze Jr. from Star Wars Rebels, Charlie Cox from Daredevil, and others. Josh Abbott Band in concert
The Backyard Amphitheater welcomes guests for an evening of Texas country music performed by the Josh Abbott Band. Originally from Lubbock, the group is known for hit songs such as “Oh, Tonight” and “Wasn’t That Drunk,” which have topped the charts for more than a decade. They make a stop in Fredericksburg in support of their new album, The Highway Kind. General admission tickets are still available.
Tower of the Americas presents Party on the Tower Plaza
Head to Tower of the Americas for the continuation of a rocking summer music series. This week, the Mark Odom Band comes to the plaza with their signature Texas blues and rock tunes. The event begins at 7 pm and admission is free.
