Free event series returns to Tobin Center with fitness and fun for all

The weather is warming up, and that means the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts will be hosting another season of free, fun events on the Will Naylor Smith River Walk Plaza.
Now through October, two series — H-E-B Cinema on the Plaza and University Health System Fitness on the Plaza — will give movie-lovers, fitness enthusiasts, and people seeking budget-friendly activities a way to enjoy entertainment and exercise outside.
At H-E-B Cinema on the Plaza, guests can enjoy blockbusters every second Friday of the month on a giant outdoor screen. There will be a full cash bar and film-themed snacks available for purchase. Chairs will also be onsite, but you're encouraged to bring your own blankets and lawn chairs, just in case. Before each movie begins, guests are invited to check out new music technology and interactive DJ stations with the AM Project's Bass Bus Music Experience.
