McNay Art Museum presents "Selena Forever/Siempre Selena"
The McNay Art Museum pays tribute to the late ‘90s icon and Tejano music sensation Selena with a series of snapshots by San Antonio photographer John Dyer. The exhibition will feature photos from Selena’s memorable shoots with Dyer for both Más Magazine in 1992 and Texas Monthly in 1995. Following the opening weekend, the photographs will be on display through July 5.
Spamilton: An American Parody
Broadway's biggest hit, Hamilton, is reimagined as a hilarious parody on the Charline McCombs Empire Theatre stage. Audiences can learn the story of a successful theater star trying to save Broadway from oblivion — while also taking a few "shots" at the famous musical it spoofs. Expect hilarious pop culture references, satirical songs, and nonstop comedy. Performances through January 26.
