COMING ATTRACTIONS
New all-you-can-eat sushi spot rolls into San Antonio’s Alamo Ranch

Takumi will bring all-you-can-eat sushi to Alamo Ranch.
A new Alamo Ranch restaurant will soon test San Antonio’s sushi stamina. Takumi Japanese Restaurant & Bar, offering all-you-can-eat rolls and sashimi, says it will open by the end of December at 10907 Culebra Rd. #101.
The eatery first teased its opening with a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing in September 2024, stating that the 7,044-square-foot spot would be completed by the end of October 2025. In recent weeks, it has been previewing its vast menu in anticipation of its grand opening.
Takumi will offer limitless sushi at affordable prices. The regular feast costs $32.95 for adults and $17.95 for kids aged 5-10. Lunch service will be provided Monday through Saturday for a discounted cost of $12.95 for children and $22.95 for grown-ups. Youth aged 4 and under always eat free.
No matter the time of day, Takumi offers a lot of bang for the buck. The main draw is more than a dozen chef’s specialty rolls like the Hot Hot with shrimp tempura, cucumber, sriracha, and jalapeno, and the Pink Lady with salmon, tuna, yellowtail, avocado, and an Insta-friendly pink soy wrapper.
Guests can also load their plate with maki (hand rolls), seared tataki, and sashimi — although the latter has a limit of 20 pieces per person. To round out the experience, the spread also includes soups, salads, and popular appetizers like edamame, crab rangoon, shumai dumplings, fried calamari, and harumaki (Japanese-style spring rolls).
Takumi has yet to announce its official opening date, and a request for more information was not immediately returned. But while waiting for the sushi marathon, hungry locals can download the restaurant’s app on the App Store or Google Play. More details can be found on the restaurant’s social media.
