Battalion Opens
Hotly anticipated Southtown restaurant opens its doors

A hot new Southtown restaurant opened Tuesday, February 28, and its historical setting is just the beginning.
Dubbed the next easy Italian restaurant and located in renovated Fire Station No. 7, Battalion is an exciting foray for the Stefan Bowers/Andrew Goodman restaurant empire. The free-standing firehouse has been redone to fire up your palate, along with your curiosity regarding how the team continues to achieve cultivated spaces and menus.
The all-star team is known for Feast, the first eatery to crash the Southtown restaurant scene with something new and different, and Rebelle at the St. Anthony Hotel.
Everything Goodman does has a flair for fancy, and the spaces he creates are meticulously beautiful and approachable at the same time. At Battalion, Bowers' menu of fresh pastas, char-grilled meats, vegetable dishes, and Italian classics will likely leave diners satisfied with delicate and honest flavors, and his dishes always match Goodman's tenacity for all things lovely.
Battalion is open for dinner service, Tuesday through Saturday, from 5 pm to 11 pm.
